2016 Ronald Reagan Coin & Chronicles Set

Overview: Released by the U.S. Mint in October 2016, this was the final installment in the popular Coin & Chronicles series. It honors the 40th U.S. President, who signed the Liberty Coin Act into law in 1985 which originally created the American Silver Eagle series.

Key Contents:

1. 2016-S Reverse Proof Presidential $1 Coin: Struck at the San Francisco Mint with a brilliant, mirrored design against frosted fields. This specific finish was exclusive only to this set.

2. 2016-W Proof 30th Anniversary American Silver Eagle: Features a special lettered edge ("30th ANNIVERSARY") to celebrate three decades of the silver eagle program, struck at West Point.

3. Ronald & Nancy Reagan Bronze Medal: A 1.5-inch historical bronze medal featuring portraits of the president and first lady.

4. Collector Packaging: Comes with an authentic engraved presidential portrait from the Bureau of Engraving and Printing and a rich, soft-touch display booklet chronicling his life and presidency.

Market Appeal: With a strict original household limit and a low maximum mint production cap (150,000 sets), it remains a heavily sought-after modern collectible package, often commanding strong secondary market premiums due to the inclusion of the exclusive reverse proof dollar and the special 30th-anniversary silver eagle.
